A protected finish still needs the right habits. Keep it looking showroom-fresh.
Keep it dry — the first 48 hours
Your coating cures over a full 48 hours. The most critical first 12 hours are done right here in our shop — kept completely dry before we release your car. That leaves about 36 hours on your side: keep it dry, skip the car wash, and park under cover where you can.
Caught in the rain on the way home? No worries — the hardest 12 hours are already behind you. Just don't let it stay wet for long, and your protection will cure perfectly.
◆ Keep it dry (~36 hrs on your side)
The critical first 12 hours are completed in our shop. Keep the car dry for the remaining ~36 hours — out of the rain and standing water. Park indoors where you can.
◆ Don't wash yet
Skip washing and wiping the paint during the cure window. No touching the surface unless necessary.
◆ Hand wash as needed
Wash it when it needs it — rinse first, then a pH-neutral shampoo with the two-bucket method and a clean microfiber mitt.
◆ Dry softly
Blot dry with a plush microfiber towel — never let hard water air-dry, which leaves mineral spots.
◆ Park in shade
Avoid prolonged direct sun, and remove bird droppings and tree sap promptly.
◆ Keep to your schedule
Book your gloss enhancers on time — each visit tops up the coating's hydrophobics and gloss.
◆ Do: coating-safe products
Use only pH-neutral, coating-friendly shampoos and clean microfiber, every time.
✕ Don't: automatic brush washes
Tunnel and brush car washes drag grit across the paint and cause micro-marring on the coating.
✕ Harsh chemicals
No strong degreasers, acidic wheel cleaners, or solvent-based products on coated surfaces.
✕ Abrasive sponges
Never use rough sponges, old towels, or dish soap — they scratch and strip the coating.
How often do I need a gloss enhancer?
Your schedule above shows every visit. As a rule, one every 3–6 months depending on your program — the portal always shows your exact next date.
What if I miss a scheduled visit?
Message your branch and we'll reschedule. Staying on schedule keeps your warranty and gloss at their best; a short delay won't void your coverage.
Can I still go to a regular car wash?
Hand washing is best. Touchless washes are okay in a pinch — avoid automatic brush tunnels, which cause micro-scratches.
